YAF is a four month swim program offered twice
a year, January-April and September-December for summer league
swimmers 8 years and older. The program is non-competitive
and its objective is to keep the "swim team" kids
swimming year round. The program focuses on improving stroke
mechanics and overall fitness level during the off season. |

Youth Aqua Fit I |
| |
• Must
be 8 years and older • Swimmers
need to know all 4 strokes as well as other swim skills that
will be assessed in the mandatory tryout session. • Swimmers
who still need to work on the 4 strokes should consider enrolling
in a Learn to Swim session. |

Youth Aqua Fit II |
| |
• Must
be 12 years and older • Returning
YAF I participant, tryout and YAF coach's recommendation. • The
objective of this NEW course is to prepare swimmers for USA
competition and/or high school swim team tryouts. • Swimmers
are "legal" and fluid in all 4 strokes and can swim
100 yards of each. • YAF
II participants regularly use flipturns. Swimmers can expect
to swim 2200 yards + each workout. |
